- - - - fashion sense, She isn’t your typical angel. Krystal doesn’t like the dresses that flow in the wind and all that. First of all, she doesn’t do the whole dress thing. She can fly. Flying plus a dress just doesn’t work. Krystal prefers loose pants and a long flowing shirt. It isn’t anything tight or showy, because there is no way she was going to be somehow mistaken for a whore. At her waist is a dagger, which she has become adept at using over the years.

- - - - overall personality, Krystal can almost always be found with some sort of smile gracing her face. She likes laughing and joking, and loves hanging out with her friends. She is very peppy and hyper-like. Krystal is child-like, finding the simple things in life to be pleasurable as well as the more complicated and elaborate. She is very loyal and courageous, and would never betray her friends. Krystal is the type of person who tries to carry the problems of others on her own shoulders, to try to ease their burden a little.
Her sunny disposition makes her seem a little childish, but she is anything but. Sure, she’d love to be a child again, and loves to play and have fun, but she is entitled to her status as an adult, and a sorcerer at that. Krystal can be very serious when she must be, though she still has some of her wit and cheer even then. Just because its work doesn’t mean she has to change who she is. She can be happy on the strangest days or for the strangest reasons. For instance, her comrades prefer not to work in the rain, but she loves going out just so she can splash in the puddles. She's been given more than one odd look for having a look of pure elation as she - and anyone within a few feet of her - becomes thoroughly soaked in her splashing fun.
Krystal can be seen in many places you'd find many different, strange people. Some people might be daunted at the thought of so many people at once, but not Krys. She loves meeting new people, and doesn't mind lending a helping hand to someone who doesn't know her. She's a good person, all around, and loves doing good deeds. However, that's only if she's meeting you for the first time for no reason. If she's arresting you, then that's a whole 'nother ball game there. She can be more rough and impolite, the degree leveling out to the severity of the crime. Krystal wouldn't be as hard on a petty shoplifter as she would be a cold blooded murderer.
Krystal has never been seen as one to get angry mad - just the opposite. She's always happy, kind, or just overall pleasant to be around. However, everyone has those points where they just can't not get upset. When she's angry, she throws a short temper tantrum - full of yelling and name calling - before being oddly silent and untalkative. She broods and won't speak to anyone who pissed her off, unless it was absolutely necessary. Then, if it were their fault, and they have apologized - she almost instantly becomes her happy self around them, though she does have a few minutes of "transitioning". If it was totally her fault, or a misunderstanding, she'll be a little nervous and shy, but she will man up and apologize for her idiocity. When she's upset, it's almost the same, except there's no yelling or name calling. It's just uncharacteristic silence. She doesn't stand for a few things, some of those being sexism or racism, as well as child abuse or harassment of any kind. She's quite partial to children.

He looked tired. She was tired. Wasn't there anyone in this business that wasn't exhausted all the time? Oh, right, the techies. They didn't have to go around all gun-ho, since they just answered phones all day. That probably wasn't fair to them, them and their phone answering had saved her life a time or two, but still. When you're tired and hurt and just wanting to quit, seeing people just sit around answering phones kind of pisses you off. She'd feel bad for these thoughts later, for now she'd just be annoyed at them for being so perky and happy.
She wondered about Hale though. He'd had an early hunt, earlier than hers even, and he should be home. Her hunt had ended maybe half an hour ago, and she'd was about to start toying with the idea of going home when he'd shown up. Still, he was the top dog here, so maybe something came up that they needed him to okay or something. Who knows, obviously she didn't. Geeze, this was kind of how they'd met. It was after a hunt - hers or his she really couldn't remember - and they'd just started talking. Man, she hated getting older. Her memory was going to start fuzzing over and then she wouldn't remember half the things she'd want to.
"Yeah, yeah. You're the slacker of the group. Gotta keep my eye on you." His voice snapped her out of her thoughts. She sighed dramatically. "Now I gotta work. You're so mean sometimes, Hale." Krystal said, trying to keep a smile off her face. She knew her eyes were alight with her playfulness, but she kept her face straight at least, and she was proud of herself for that much. Especially when she was tired, since most said that self control disappeared the more tired one was. Well, obviously she was an exception, or just plain special. She'd rather be special, it sounded so much... well, specialer.
Hale laughed heartily, nearly spilling his drink. Well, that comment was a little off color for her, but what could she say? She was tired and it was late and it was fun to say."Easy, Krystal. You say that to the wrong guy, they're gunna think you mean it, and then get crushed when you tell 'em you were just messin' with their head." She grinned playfully at him. "Well, that's always been my secret goal in life, you know. Being a heartbreaker - yep, that's me alright." She responded. Why not, it fit with the rest of the silly conversation.
"If by 'lady friend', you mean 'sister', then yeah. Knowing her, though, she's still in bed or at the shop, so I got a couple hours to waste." Krystal nodded in agreement. There wasn't anything much for her to do either, except go home to pass out on her bed. That's all she'd been doing after hunts as of late. She could remember a time when she'd stay up for hours after a hunt and chat with anyone that came by, or just read. Now she reserved such pleasantries for other times, such as when the sun was up.
He took off his sunglasses, and she could see how tired he was just by looking at them. Damn, he looked more tired than she was. Times were not easy on either of them, now were they? He rubbed his face and groaned softly, and she felt slightly sorry for him. Her life sucked, and that was without being the lead hunter. That was one reason why she'd never tried to go for the lead, since she didn't want that extra burden. Still, it didn't stop her from feeling bad for the two leaders.
"You didn't think I was gunna just forget about you, did ya? No other girl that I'm interested in, other than you and Carla." He grinned again, but it wasn't as full of life as the ones before it, no, it held more of his exhaustion. He was obviously very tired, and she figured he was just joking. She had no idea what she would say if he was serious - she hadn't had time for a serious relationship in years. Besides, he was a player with the ladies, never sticking with one woman for more than a night, two at best.
"Well you know, a girl always has her doubts." She said gently, her tone still playful.
